This series is created to meet the demands from Scouts, hikers to use on shorter day trips and school / Duke of Edinburough trips. Patented red/black north/south lines in the capsule (Field 8 and 26) and a north indicator on the compass needle are standard on the Field series. Probably the worlds best selling compass model!

The small size and the rounded back base plate makes this compass an ideal youth / beginners compass for all land navigation.
